Lingerie Care

General washing instructions

For every piece of lingerie purchased from Love'N'Lace, we advise our customers to follow these washing instructions:
- Hand wash in cold water (temperature < 30 Celcius) & hang dry
- Do not iron
- Do not wash in washing machine
- Do not dry wash
- Do not bleach
- Do not hang under direct sun exposure

How to dry and store your lingerie

Drying
To dry, remove your lingerie one piece at a time and squeeze excess water gently from the piece (do not twist your lingerie as it’ll lose it’s shape) and let it hang dry. Avoid from using a tumble dryer and make sure your lingerie is not in contact of direct sunlight. Again due to the fabrics used in your lingerie it is always best to hang dry or flat dry your garments. Dryers can cause un-repairable damage to your silk Chemise or satin Babydoll. If you have to use a dryer then leave the lingerie in the lingerie bag and set the dryer at its lowest possible setting. You will find that sheer fabrics such as mesh or Chiffon require no heat to dry.

Storing
It is good to have a separate lingerie chest, if possible. Otherwise, you must make room for lingerie items in separate drawers. Depending upon your lingerie collection, you might want to organize them by type (e.g. all bras in one drawer and all panties in another, and so on) or you can put all the matching sets together if you are the type that is a big fan of matching lingerie items.

So by taking a little care of your lingerie, your Babydolls, Chemises, Teddies and Bustiers should look as good as new wash after wash.
